Thousands of people remain missing after the catastrophic flash flood that has killed more than 700 people in Nepal and Tibet as authorities warn search and rescue teams of rising waters.

The combined toll in Nepal and Tibet has climbed to 750 dead and more than 3,000 people missing. Chinese authorities on Sunday reported 16 deaths and 546 missing, of whom 261 were foreign nationals, while Nepali officials confirmed 734 dead and 2,498 people missing.
